MS1900:2015 specifies the requirements for a Shariah-based Quality Management System which adopt ISO
9001 as its fundamental. The aim of MS 1900:2015 standard is to provide the requirements for the
organizations to manage its business operation in accordance with the universally acceptable values such as
justice, honesty, truthfulness, sincerity, timeliness and discipline. These values coupled with the halal and nonhalal aspects embeded in all processes necessary for the production and delivery of products and services will be effectively communicated to every personnel in the organization. It will inculcate the Islamic values as
foundation to customer satisfaction and organization’s performance.
